Isabella Davis

Isabella S. Davis has been involved in many organizations including, Kings Forest Neighborhood Association, block captain; Concerned Citizens of North East Greensboro and charter member of Business and Economic Pioneers, Inc. She serves as the secretary for the Laughlin United Methodist Church and is a trustee board secretary of Immaculate Chapter Order of the Eastern Star. Isabella is the committee chair for Greensboro Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta and is a member of the executive board. Her work experience includes teaching at Wayne County for two years and working in social work in Craven County for one year. She retired after thirty years from the City of Greensboro, Parks and Recreation Department where some of her responsibilities included program development for kindergarten through adult seniors, supervision and performance evaluation, principles of municipal budget preparation and control, knowledge of a variety of materials to promote program awareness, ability to coordinate with other related community agencies and ability to participate on a variety of boards and commissions promoting awareness and new developments in the recreation arena. She is a widow and has one daughter.
