Jennifer Schaal
Jennifer Schaal graduated from Beloit College with a B.S. in biology and went on to receive her M.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her training with a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She has been in private practice in Greensboro since 1986. She and a fellow physician established Greensboro Women's Healthcare in 1991, practicing gynecology only. She has participated in research as a clinical investigator for both the HERS and ERA studies of hormone replacement therapy and heart disease. She was on the community board for the Women's Health Initiative in Greensboro. She has been very active in the community as a member of a Friend's Meeting, as a board of trustees member at Guilford College, at Friend's Homes of Guilford and at the Friend's Center at Guilford College. Her committee work at the hospital has included a number of years on the Moses Cone Institutional Review Board. She is married to a family physician and has two children.
