Viola A. Monroe

Viola A. Monroe is 55 years young and is a blessed mother of three adult children. Growing up in a rural community, Viola learned at an early age to thank God for everything and everybody. Her parents and grandparents taught her to appreciate loving, caring and giving her time and energy to help others. Viola’s love for others guided her to work as an x-ray technician and as a paralegal. She learns from and enjoys every challenge. She is presently working passionately as a member of The Partnership Project. Being a diagnosed breast cancer survivor, she inspires others to never give in to negative thoughts. She is a member of the Friends of Faith and Hope and serves as a Legislative Ambassador for the American Cancer Society. With her concern for our children’s education and life skills, she is actively involved with the parents and students in the Guilford County School system, embracing awareness of the need for community involvement in our children's education. Most importantly, Viola is energized and not victimized, fired up but not burned out for Jesus.
